Zenith Elite Chronograph Classic
Classic, sophisticated and timelessly refined—these words can be applied to the majority of Zenith watches, but the Elite series especially possesses these qualities. The Zenith Elite Chronograph Classic—released at this year’s Baselworld—is a beautiful example of the kind of elegant watchmaking that the brand has made a name for.
Available in stainless steel or 18k rose gold, the case measures 42mm in diameter and is 11.8mm thick. With a curved, pebble shape and subtle rectangular pushpieces, the watch offers a comfortably ergonomic fit on the wrist. The silver-toned dial is exquisitely simple, with sleek rhodium-plated indices and faceted hands. It features two understated subdials, and provides hours, minutes, small seconds and chronograph indicators.
Inside the watch is the state-of-the-art and much-renowned El Primero Calibre 4069, beating at 36,000vph—flip the watch over, and you can admire it through the transparent caseback. To complement the classically cool design, the piece comes on either a black or brown rubber-lined alligator strap.
The Elite Chronograph Classic is an excellent addition to an already distinguished watch series. Combining the contemporary with the traditional, the watch is an effortlessly stylish match to a sharp suit.
