Feature: These BARGAIN Rolexes Will Blow Your Mind

Finding a Rolex for a bargain price is pretty tough going these days, with demand for the crown going through the roof. This demand has in turn resulted in even pre-owned Rolex watches almost always costing more than a brand new one! That said, it’s still possible to find a Rolex whose market value hasn’t gone up by an insane amount—we’ve found five of them…

Rolex Air-King 114200 Domino's Pizza

This is no ordinary Air-King, oh no! This is a Domino’s Pizza Air-King, which came about when the fast-food chain decided to gift managers of high-performing stores a Rolex—the lucky so-and-sos! With the Domino’s Pizza logo emblazoned on the bracelet—instead of the dial like some other versions—this is a quirky watch with an interesting backstory. Whether you love or hate this collaboration, one thing’s for sure, at £7.5k pre-owned it’s a steal indeed.

Rolex Datejust 16014

Considered one of Rolex’s entry-level offerings, the Datejust is an icon among the crown’s selection. With a typically minimalist style, this piece is sure to appeal to most, with its plain legible dial—fitted with a date at three o’clock—steel Jubilee bracelet and white gold and steel case. From the early 1970s, this particular Datejust will almost certainly stoke any vintage collector’s fire and for £4.5k pre-owned, its retro charm isn’t the end of its appeal!

Rolex Explorer 114270

Inspired by mountaineers Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay and their remarkable journey up Mount Everest—in which Rolex equipped them with watches—the Explorer was launched in 1953. With an easy-to-read dial and understated steel case and bracelet, it’s perfect for everyday and adventures alike. Although coming in at £2k more than the current Explorer—reference 124270—at RRP, this is a good value piece considering some Rolex watches triple in value once they leave the showroom. At under just £8,000 this would make a great addition to any collection.

Rolex Deepsea 116660

Although £11,900 isn’t exactly cheap, when it comes to a popular Rolex professional watch on the pre-owned market, it sure isn’t bad. This Deepsea Sea-Dweller is a staple watch for any deep-sea diver. Created in collaboration with COMEX and the US Navy, it can withstand underwater pressure that would crush a submarine, plus, it’s water resistant to a whopping 3,900m—that’s deeper than the average depth of the ocean!

Rolex Datejust 116234

This model has all the hallmarks of a classic Datejust, and then some! With a steel and white gold case, this is a Rolex flaunting a very precious metal, plus, the steel disk on the dial makes for an interesting take on the classic model, plus it boasts a date at three o’clock. Costing £7,750 pre-owned, this is a great little bargain, in our books.
