This Panerai Luminor 8 days set was produced as 1 of only 500 and consists of two different timepieces. The two timepieces that come with the set are strikingly different with the white dialled and blue accented Daylight appearing as a homage to the 1986 original. The Black Seal maintains a classically Panerai aesthetic with a black dial and DLC case. However, the timepiece is a ‘destro’ watch meaning that it has a left sided crown, this means that the set comprises of a watch made to be worn on the left wrist and a watch made to be worn on the right wrist. Despite their differences, both watches come in 44mm cases and are powered by Panerai’s in-house P5000 hand-wound movement. The movement gives each watch a power reserve of 8 days, hence their ‘8 days’ moniker. The timepieces are presented in box made from pear wood and have their original papers. Inside the box, alongside the timepieces, you will find a model of a slow-speed human torpedo and a publication about the Royal Italian Navy.
