Description
There aren’t many watches that the general public are prohibited from buying, yet this Bremont MB1 aviation watch is available at retail only to Martin-Baker ejectees—that is, aviators who have ejected from an aircraft in an emergency using an ejection seat made by the Martin-Baker company. Thankfully, as these watches crop up on the pre-owned market, you don’t need to have experienced the trauma of a mid-flight accident to buy one. The watch itself is a robust stainless-steel model with Trip-Tick case construction, and was made to withstand the same rigorous testing programme as the ejection seats themselves. Meanwhile, every MB1 watch is unique in that it is engraved with the ejectee’s call sign, name or date. A true piece of aviation history.
This Bremont Martin Baker MBI has a black arabic dial and a bracelet strap. This Bremont has undergone a thorough inspection of water resistance, accuracy, functionality and condition to determine the level of reconditioning required to meet our strict standards. It has also been referenced against technical documents and manufacturer records where available to ensure authenticity and a clean history. All our watches have a 24-month warranty for your peace of mind.
