Departmental administrators.

Content and Brand manager

We want to serve our web site visitors even more effectively through the intelligent use of targeted, timely, relevant, high quality content. The Content Manager will take responsibility for content across the watchfinder website, email, blog, social media, video and offline print. They will also work closely with relevant managers and outside agencies to support associated marketing objectives with appropriate content initiatives. They will be responsible for delivering a consistent on brand message as well as driving new and repeat traffic through all forms of media and content marketing. The Content Manager will work in conjunction with the Press Association, our full time photographer, the technical, marketing, and sales departments to develop and maintain content plans. You will report to a Director & the board of Directors.

The Content Manager will also
* Work within defined budgets to source, commission, generate, manage and edit copy/content to deliver these plans.
* Become core user of our bespoke CMS, social media sites, google adwords and Online PR sites
* Provide copywriting, content scheduling, image selection, copy right compliance, supplier management and other related expertise as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Responsibility for on-site content
* Content planning and ideas development
* Copywriting, content creation and commissioning
* Quality control of designated brands, maintaining tone of voice
* Content posting and management
* Integration of SEO principles to content planning
* Help develop editorial guidelines and publishing workflow
* Working with appropriate stakeholders to meet brand objectives
* Use of content tools and CMS

KEY SKILLS and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

* Ability to create and realise a content vision for brand(s)
* Understanding and familiarity with internet technologies
* Online content experience
* Copy generation, management and editing
* Ability to work with and engage stakeholders as required
* Ability to manage new and existing content suppliers
