News: Vacheron Constantin Quai de I’Île

The Vacheron Constantin Quai de I’Île has been created in honour of the historic home of the brand, also the site of the artisanal cabinotiers of the 19th century. Right in the centre of Geneva, the Quai de l’Île—translating as ‘Dock of the Island’—is sited within the river Rhône, and serves as a crossing point and a centre of business.

Vacheron Constantin’s Quai de l’Île uses avant garde styling to create a unique take on the wristwatch. Choices include a silver or black opaline dial set within a 41mm cushion case, as well as a strap choice of either brown alligator or black rubber. A tungsten rotor weight powers the calibre 5100, which displays the date using a rotating disk on which an arrow is printed.

The movement bears the Hallmark of Geneva seal, a mark of exquisite craftsmanship, as well as featuring 37 jewels, a 28,800 vph beat rate and a power reserve of 60 hours. Water resistance is 30 metres, the stainless steel case sealed with twin sapphire crystals.
