Description

This is a pre-owned Ebel 1911 8136901. It has a 40mm Yellow Gold case (measured across its width, excluding crown), a White Roman Numeral dial, a Leather - Blue bracelet, and is powered by an Automatic movement. The case has a 8136xxx serial making it approximately 8 years old. It is supplied with a comprehensive 12 month Watchfinder warranty.

In 1981, Ebel made the decision to create a perpetual calendar module for the Zenith El Primero chronograph movement. The El Primero was picked mainly because of its slim size; at 6.5mm thick, it could comfortably take a perpetual calendar module whilst remaining slender. Other automatic chronographs available at the time were chronograph modules mated to an existing movement, and as a result were far thicker than the El Primero. Together with Dubois-Depraz, a chronograph and calendar specialist whose list of clients includes Audemars Piguet and Girard-Perregaux, the Ebel Calibre 136 was born in 1984. Despite being a nearly thirty year-old design, the Ebel calendar chronograph is still, by modern standards, an impressive feat, squeezing a day, date, month, leap year indicator, moonphase and chronograph all into a 40mm case.

This Ebel has undergone a thorough inspection of water resistance, accuracy, functionality and condition to determine the level of reconditioning required to meet our strict standards. It has also been referenced against technical documents and manufacturer records where available to ensure authenticity and a clean history.

Warranty

We know the value of security, so every watch we sell comes with a twelve month warranty alongside any remaining manufacturer’s warranty it may also have. Should your watch stop working properly through no fault of your own then we shall repair it free of charge for the duration of your warranty.

What Happens If There Is A Problem With My Watch?

  • If you have any remaining manufacturer’s warranty, then you can send your watch to them for repair either via us or via an authorised retailer.
  • If your watch is covered by a Watchfinder Warranty but not the manufacturer’s warranty, then we will undertake the repairs in conjunction with the manufacturer where necessary.
  • If your watch is not covered by any warranty then you can send it in to us for a quote. Any work undertaken by us will be covered by a further twelve month Watchfinder warranty.
